What You'll Be Doing:
· Oversee a portfolio of clients and reach out to existing, potential, and new clients to gather crucial information for matching unique circumstances with suitable policy options.
· Communicate orally and in writing in a timely manner to internal or external requests or inquiries.
· Correspond daily with clients and insurance companies.
· Generate new business and retain existing business through excellent customer service.
· Provide strategic guidance, exposure analysis, and obtain underwriting information for new and renewal clients to comply with legal requirements.
· Drive revenue and growth for the agency by identifying and pursuing business opportunities with prospects.
· Present proposals clearly and effectively to ensure clients understand their coverage details.
· Coordinate with account managers and customer service reps to ensure a first-class experience from start to finish.
· Engage in networking opportunities by attending industry events, getting involved in the local community, and asking for referrals from current customers.
· Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional lines of insurance where appropriate and applicable.
Your Skills & Strengths:
· Licensed life and health agent preferred.
· Strong knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and technology.
· Proven track record in identifying prospects through demand generation channels and cold calling.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Highly organized with strong time management skills.
· Positive attitude, growth mindset, and client-centric work ethic.
· Ability to network at all levels and influence decision-making.
· Thrives on autonomy and in a high-volume environment.
