Job Description
- Provide remote on-call services from 6pm - 7am Monday-Friday, with weekend and holiday coverage on a rotating schedule.
- Conduct remote assessments and provide appropriate medical advice and interventions.
- Calls can be escalated to telemedicine visits if needed.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and guidelines governing remote healthcare services.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing remote healthcare services.
- Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., gerontology, acute care, family medicine).
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to post-acute care.
