As one of Kingsway Home Health's Administrative Assistants, you will oversee the daily operations of the front office. Home Health experience is a plus, but not required. All staff members are trained.
Responsibilities:
Answering Phones -Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual - Taking messages and relaying them to the appropriate person
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Providing information and assistance to callers regarding company services
Managing and organizing phone systems and voicemail boxes
Scheduling Patients/Nurse
Filing/Scanning incoming documents.
Verify Insurance for incoming home health patients.
Schedule and Track Nursing Services/Therapy visits for home health patients
Verifying Physician orders sent and received.
Keeping H.R files up to date
Tracking of Home health 485 (plan of care)
Familiar with start of care, recertification, and discharge orders
Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.

Skills: - Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with Homehealth office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using phone systems and various software applications (Axxess software etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines
.Bilingual ( English/Spanish) also a plus, to help translate for some of our Patients who are Spanish -Speaking patients.
