Allied Building Service is a Full Facility Management Company, and is searching for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual. This job is a unique Monday-Friday, Daytime Warehouse position, located in the popular Cork Town community in Detroit. Responsibilities:
The right candidate will assist the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day warehouse operations. This includes managing incoming and outgoing vendor orders, package tracking, maintaining the warehouse grounds and floors, truck bays, while keeping them organized and operational daily. This job can offer many opportunities to the right person.
Qualifications:
- Being an effective communicator verbal and written
- Utilizing our company software system to check in and communicate package statuses with our Direct and National Teams and co-workers.
- Having the ability to get the job done with little supervision
- Ability to work in a hot or cold work environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Managing an inventory of all warehouse supplies
- A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Hi-Lo experience is a plus, if not training is provided.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
