We are seeking a Communications & Front Desk Manager to join our vibrant Jewish preschool community. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and personable individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Administrative Support & Leadership:

Upload and track enrollment forms, medical records, including immunizations, and other required documents using digital systems.

Communicate with families regarding missing paperwork to maintain accurate records and databases related to student information, attendance, and inquiries.

Ensure forms are up to date with regard to Colorado State Licensing Standards.

Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Coordinates and is responsible for closing the school each night.
Communication:

Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide information about the preschool's programs, policies, and upcoming events.

Relay messages promptly and accurately to relevant staff members.

Assist with drafting and distributing newsletters, memos, and announcements.

As part of the ELS Administrative Team, coordinate all-school communications to families.
Event Planning and Organization:

Collaborate with the administrative team to plan, schedule, and execute special events, including, but not limited to, holiday celebrations, parent workshops, and fundraising activities.

Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, decorations, and invitations.

Assist with promoting events through various channels and ensuring maximum participation.
Other Duties:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

Assist with basic office tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry.

Adhere to confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive information.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
- The job requires individuals with strong written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital record-keeping systems, such as Campminder and Brightwheel,
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently under minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Jewish culture and traditions is a plus.

Full-Time employees of the JCC are considered benefits-eligible.
The JCC contributes a portion of medical, dental, and vision plan premiums. The JCC proudly pays for 100% of Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage for benefits eligible employees. We also provide additional voluntary benefit plans.
The JCC has a 401(K) Plan available for elective deferral contributions for employees over 21 years of age with no waiting period. The JCC matches 50% of employee contributions, up to 3%, on a 5-year vesting schedule.
Paid Time Off is a day-one benefit, accrued based on years of service and in compliance with Colorado Health Families & Workplaces Act. First-year, benefits-eligible employees may accrue up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in their first year of service. The JCC also provides paid-holidays and benefits-eligible employees are awarded up to 4 additional “Floating Holidays” per year, prorated based on date of hire.
