Position: Paint Supervisor

As a Paint Supervisor, you will manage the flow of materials and lead the paint department personnel. You will set the tone for the team, ensuring jobs are completed with the highest quality, on time, and as efficiently as possible. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Safety First: Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are met and followed. Safety is our top priority.

Lean/5S Principles: Adhere to and implement Lean/5S principles daily in the paint field.

Team Leadership: Train and motivate employees, coordinating with managers and other supervisors to ensure job completion.

Workflow Management: Move and stage materials efficiently, inspect blasting, loading, and paint quality.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks, ensure efficiency, and maintain adherence to procedures.

Resource Management: Print stickers and scan sheets, track daily paint usage, and enter employee job hours.

Inventory Management: Inspect the paint room, conduct inventory audits, and spot-check materials.

Technical Specifications: Provide specs for blasting and painting, sign off on trailer load check-off sheets, and hold team accountable for paperwork.

Continuous Improvement: Clean overspray from the paint field floor, turn in daily blaster check-off sheets, and complete new hire paperwork promptly.

Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience is required, with a preference for paint field supervision.

Detail-Oriented: Must be attentive to detail and capable of making quick decisions.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new technology.

Team Collaboration: Willing to manage and coordinate with other Paint Field Supervisors and lead the entire department.

Lean/5S Background: A background in Lean/5S principles is preferred.
