Position Overview: The Task Manager Senior plays a pivotal role in leading and managing a team to ensure successful execution of tasks outlined in the contract. They are responsible for overseeing the hiring process, maintaining skillsets required for project support, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Location: While remote work is currently authorized, the Government reserves the unilateral right to change where work is performed under this task order, as necessary. Current locations include but are not limited to: Falls Church, VA, Washington, DC, San Antonio, TX and Aurora, Colorado.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team to achieve project objectives within the specified timeline.
· Support legacy products and modernization efforts as per the Organization Mission, Vision, and Strategic goals.
· Conduct interviews and hire contractor support candidates with appropriate skills.
· Uphold skillsets required for supporting legacy products and modernization efforts.
· Ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
· Maintain a high level of detail orientation, organization, and self-motivation.
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience in leading/managing a team of similar size.
· Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Military Health System, and/or Defense Health Agency preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
· Effective interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $125,500.00 per year
