Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", the responsibilities of this position include preparing a cuisine utilizing experience and a passion for food preparation. This position is also responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. In addition, this role directs kitchen operations like a business owner ensuring that the business is financially successful and that it represents our brand identity in its entirety by positively impacting our operation. This position is therefore accountable for the overall success of the kitchen restaurant/complex as well as the development and retention of employees. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.
Part-Time, On-Site position.
Competitive salary based on experience, starting at $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:

Adherence to health/safety, food safety and alcohol consumption regulations.

Proper execution of menu for all guests including groups and banquets.

Experience working with inventory systems, purchasing/receiving and food/beverage vendors.

Performs all opening, running, and closing duties.

Assembles all orders coming into the kitchen.

Checks the quality of all orders going out of the kitchen.

Maintains a clean and organized kitchen.

Practices safety and sanitation standards.

Has a mastery in kitchen skills (knife skills, kitchen safety, meal prep, stay organized, follows recipes, etc.).
Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Minimum of two (2) plus years of culinary experience, plus experience in multi-functional organizations that offer a variety of menu options (banquets, unique menu offerings, large group functions, small private functions).

Must obtain Food Handler’s Certification.

Must have departmental software computer knowledge (based on department employed by with a minimum of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
