Arm is looking for a system performance modeling and analysis architect for SoC system performance using Arm IPs. You will collaborate with a brilliant team of performance architects and design engineers in driving development of new high-performance interconnect IPs, optimizing infrastructure, auto, and mobile systems, and productizing models with partners in the Arm ecosystem.
What will you be accountable for?
System performance simulation, modeling, and analysis of the latest core, cache and interconnect designs, across a broad spectrum of ARM designs. Work with performance and design engineers and architects to provide performance model-based analysis and guidance on systems optimized for performance, power and chip area. Work with performance teams in enabling and evaluating a diversity of workloads on models. System analysis for finding and improving IP micro-architecture. Engage with partners in establishing high confidence in Arm IP and systems. Work closely with internal and external teams, delivering the collateral needed to develop the highest performing systems based on Arm technology.

Three to five proven years of experience in performance modeling, workload analysis, system performance analysis, and providing effective solutions and guidance with focus on coherent and non-coherent interconnects and memory systems.

Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a strong computer architecture, microarchitecture, performance experience.

Proficiency in C++ programming for large-scale software development and proficient with the Python scripting language.

Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative and open in engaging and learning new concepts and sharing with collaborators.

Knowledge of SystemC Transaction Level Modeling and interconnect micro-architecture design.

Experience with performance tools-their deployment, guiding and mentoring partners and other team members.

Ability to map processor design concepts to model blocks in a discrete-event simulation environment.

AI Application experience would be beneficial.
