Job Description
Job Title: Chief of Staff
Location: United States
Work model: Remote
Travel Requirements: 30% - 50% within the United States
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary:
As the Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. This is a newly created role that can be based remotely from anywhere in the U.S., requiring a high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel up to 30% to 50% of the time. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and acting as a key influencer within the organization. You will bring compassion, cultural sensitivity, and strong listening skills to this role, helping to drive our mission of health equity forward.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supports a culture that fosters teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Assist the CEO in strategic planning and execution, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth business functioning, minimizing disruptions and improving overall productivity.
- Oversee and facilitate cross-functional strategic projects across various departments to ensure cohesive progress toward organizational objectives from conceptualization to implementation.
- Act as a trusted advisor and influencer within the organization, driving initiatives that support our mission.
- Travel to all Indigenous Pact locations for in-person on-site visits regularly and as required by business needs
- Craft and deliver compelling narratives that communicate our impact and mission to internal and external stakeholders.
- Enhance operational efficiencies and streamline processes to support the CEO and broader team.
- Assist in the creation and dissemination of company communications.
- Promote and uphold a culture of inclusivity, respect, and sensitivity within the organization.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Healthcare field is required
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and people preferred
- Experience in management, strategy, Human Resources, operations
- Proficient computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office suite programs
