As a Cybersecurity Strategies Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of the organization's Program Cybersecurity Strategies (AP CSS) with Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA) statutory and regulatory guidelines. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing, analyzing, and validating AP-CSS documents to ensure they align with Department of the Army (DA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Federal cybersecurity policies. You will also be responsible for assessing program attributes, cybersecurity requirements, and environmental factors that may impact program survivability and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Review and Analysis:
- Assist the Government in reviewing and analyzing the customer's Program Cybersecurity Strategies (AP CSS) to ensure compliance with Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA) statutory and regulatory guidance.
- Analyze program attributes, cybersecurity requirements, and protective measures to validate AP-CSS compliance with DA, DoD, and Federal cybersecurity policies.
Environmental Assessment:
- Evaluate the AP-CSS to ensure it addresses environmental attributes that may impact program survivability, resilience, and mission achievement.
Tracking and Reporting:
- Provide regular tracking and status reports on Army IT programs in acquisition or sustainment that require AP-CSS or CCA reviews.
Coordination:
- Coordinate AP-CSS reviews with program stakeholders to address any issues and establish milestones and objectives for compliance.
Guideline and Policy Updates:
- Analyze and update AP CSS supporting guidelines, policies, and documentation to ensure alignment with current cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity strategy analysis and compliance assessment.
- In-depth knowledge of Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA), DA, DoD, and Federal cybersecurity policies and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Active Secret security clearance.
