The Costume Shop Assistant (Part-Time Over-Hire) will assist with minor alternations, fittings, cleaning, organizing the costume shop, and run crew for a variety of theatrical productions.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with minor alterations (hemming, sewing buttons, snaps, etc.).

Assist with measurements and fittings.

Work as wardrobe crew for theatrical productions.

Help with day to day operations in the Costume Shop; restocking, organizing, laundry, etc.

Help maintain costume stock and all costume areas.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field or subject matter or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 1 year of experience in related area.

Minimum hand sewing skills.

Excellent organization and communication skills.

Positive attitude.

Self starter.

Ability to work individually and as a team.

Flexibility in scheduling.
Position Information:

This position is on an as needed basis and there is not guarantee of hours. Schedule is determined by department needs.

The pay range for this position is $26/hour - $28/hour.

This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
