Administrative Project Coordinator
START ASAP - Up to $26.00 per hour to start
JobGiraffe's client is a family-owned design/build mechanical contracting company serving the Chicagoland area.
As Administrative Project Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate projects from inception to closure
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Contactors and other project stakeholders
- Perform document review, document control and document processing activities
- Enter and process job proposal
- Receive, print and obtain signatures on contracts
- Enter and process contract information in the database
- Print and distribute construction drawings and project information to field staff
- Administer changes and adjustments to existing projects as necessary
- Submit purchase orders to suppliers for all required materials
- Administer project documentation
- Enter and process payroll
- Close out completed projects
- Maintain manual and electronic file systems
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Administrative experience
- Customer Service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Pluses:
- +++ Related experience from the Construction Industry
- +++ Experience with construction drawings/schematics, blueprints and project documentation
- +++ Project Coordinator / Project Coordination experience
Chicago, IL - Loop Area
This is a contract assignment anticipated to last 3 months (approximately 13 weeks) with the strong possibility of converting to a direct hire job thereafter.
Partial benefits will be available from JobGiraffe throughout the duration of your contract assignment.
