I&E Designer
Responsibilities:
- collaborate with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff;
- designing and developing new control systems;
- managing operations;
- Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment;
- Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation;
- Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies;
- Prepare the specification for the project electrical items
- Establishing construction, manufacturing or installation standards
- Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects;
- Design the electrical layout and identify the requirements for execution.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in AUTOCAD
- advanced process control
- distributed control systems
- 10 years minimum with I&E installation for pipeline/facilities projects
- Experience in determining I&E construction additions or alterations on pipeline system or facilities.
- I&E experience in construction for maintenance or new construction projects.
- Familiarity with control systems, valves and actuators, Metering, Communication systems, electrical distribution systems, etc.
