The Medical Assistant assists physician/clinicians with the delivery of patient care. The primary responsibility will be focused on performing technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been educated. The Medical Assistant must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a Patient Care Team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change. Performs all medical assistant functions in a medical outpatient setting for adults patients. Responsible for telephone triage. Renders patient care within the scope of their training, including administering immunizations, obtains height, weight and blood pressure on all procedures and physicals. Assists physicians with minor procedures and complete physicals. Prepares exam rooms and restock supplies. Calls in prescription refill orders and coordinates patients care with other providers and/or facilities.

3. Multi-skilled Training: EKG, phlebotomy,
simple respiratory & rehabilitative functions.
Certification/License: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
