Staten Island based company looking for hard working Executive Assistant/HR Assistant Manager to join our team. ACME Industrial Inc. is a well-established company providing industrial and marine repair and maintenance services to many commercial, Federal, State and local customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
The functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage calendars and set up meetings
- Must have strong writing and review skills, skills in Adobe, Microsoft, QuickBooks a must
- Rack daily expenses and reconcile weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
- Keep up with office supply inventory
- Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
- Take minutes during meetings
- Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
- Organize and maintain the office filing system
- Maintain friendly, cooperative relations with customers, vendors, other employees and owners.
- Works closely and effectively with Management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Review completed city contract jobs and prepare pro-forma invoice for approval and processing.
- Assist in the negotiation of pricing and terms.
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping capabilities a must.
- Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Plan, coordinate, organize and help at various company meetings, events, and celebrations.
Skills
- Work experience as an Executive Assistant, HR Assistant or similar role
- Excellent MS Office knowledge a must
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, creative and willing to take work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Willing to work in a competitive environment
