The Senior R&D Technician will work closely with experts and other team members to implement and evaluate engineering solutions. He or she will typically support the research, design and development of a subsystem, process, or other technical solution in accordance with Quality System and customer requirements. He or she will contribute to advancing ReCor’s core technologies. He or she will work with other cross-functional team members to achieve business objectives.

Supports the development of new catheter/disposable medical products and related manufacturing processes

Fabrication of prototype disposable designs, fixtures and test apparatus using CNC machining and 3D printing

Precision hand skills working under a microscope with small parts

Proficient with 3D modeling and can create 2D drawings

Proficient communicator and able to train manufacturing assemblers

Performs or supports design verification and validation testing

Supports other activities related to the ReCor quality management system including, but not limited to, design control, complaint handling, corrective and preventative action, training, troubleshooting, and audits

5+ years of R&D or product development experience

Experience in regulated environment such as medical devices preferred

Machining experience preferred

Start-up experience preferred

Self-motivated and results oriented. Able to work with minimal supervision
