Our Fremont Client Seeks an Electronic Assembler
Muust be able able to read schematics and Wiring/Cabling Diagrams
This is a Temp to Perm position
Mon-Fri 6:30am - 3pm with 1/2 hour lunch
Pay Rate $27-32/hr
Title: Electronic Assembler-QA & Support Technician
Responsibilities: Cable assembler, perform QA/inspection on electrical equipment & aid in
repairs/reconditioning as needed
Reports Directly To: Electronics Supervisor/Lead
Shift: Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm with a 1⁄2 hr lunch
Abilities Required:
Strong ability to read basic schematics and wiring diagrams
Building cables, managing electronic units, trouble-shooting units in for repair, and quality inspecting units
Reliability & punctuality in attendance
Good oral communication skills
Aptitude with electrical/electronic components
Ability to read basic schematics and wiring diagrams
Solid diagnostic/troubleshooting skills
Quality soldering skills
Prior cable assembly experience (e.g. using multi-pin conductors)
Attention to detail & product quality
Attention to safe work practices
Ability to lift fifty pounds assistance free, and fifty-one plus pounds with assistance, whether that
assistance be another individual or by mechanical assistance
Daily Tasks:
- Maintain clean, safe work area
- Follow safe work practices during the performance of work; take all reasonable precautions e.g.
protective masks, safety glasses, gloves, etc...
- Discover & report any unsafe or hazardous situations
- Report any injuries to supervisor or company managers immediately
- Inspect/QA incoming items as needed to ensure product specifications are met. Report any
irregularities to supervisor immediately
- Repair incoming items as needed
- Seek advice & instruction during the course of repairs
- Ancillary department related tasks as required
- Report hours worked on company time record
Unauthorized overtime is not allowed; FLSA status is Non-Exempt Status
Qualifications
- Proficiency in surface mount technology, soldering, and reading schematics
- Experience in electronic assembly and electrical wiring
- Familiarity with PCBs and programmable logic controllers
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, ohmmeter, and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge and machining skills are a plus
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
