Full Time Variable Shifts
JOB PURPOSE:
Assists with food preparation, delivery and set-up of all catering functions.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Six months previous catering or restaurant/dining services experience required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
ServSafe certification preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in preparing hot and cold foods for the catering events.
2. Assists with delivery and set-up of all catering events.
3. Arranges the skirting and un-skirting of all buffet tables for catered events
4. Replenishes food, beverages and other items during events
5. Cleans food areas after each catered event
6. May assist with patient tray assembly line functions
8. May assist with other sanitation and food prep duties as needed
9. May assist with disposal of trash from kitchen preparation, receiving and storeroom areas
10. May prepare dishwashing areas and machines
11. May stock physicians lounge and other areas of the facility as needed
12. May serve as backup for other positions and perform other tasks as needed
13. Performs all food related tasks in accordance with HACCP principles
