Our opening for a Senior Accountant is available now, but it won’t last long! This full-time, exempt position will be a part of the Remarkable Finance Department to our General Ledger Accounting Team with the month-end and year-end close process and be responsible for general accounting tasks and assisting. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Financial Accounting Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the accounting team in a supportive, collaborative month-end close process.
- Prepare various journal entries and account reconciliations for cash, prepaid, accruals, inter-company, fixed assets, and various other accounts.
- Analyze General Ledger account transactions and process requested journal entry adjustments.
- Reconcile complex bank accounts.
- Understand client billing and analyze large exports of billing data.
- Prepare monthly GL account reconciliations.

Coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items, and resolve issues.
- Preparing any documentation and reports daily as needed.
- Ensure proper accounting policies and principles are followed in accordance with GAAP.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field is required.

Minimum 7 – 10 years of accounting and/or general ledger experience required.
- Experience with accounting software; NetSuite is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is required. Advanced formula skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience is a plus
- Prism/HRP experience a plus.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The salary range targeted for this position is listed below. However, you should know that the pay rate may vary based on regional location, the candidate’s skill, and relevant experience. In addition, some positions may include a form of bonus or other incentive compensation, which would not be included in this salary range.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
