The Vermont Country Store is a family-owned retailer that has been operating in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont since it was founded by Vrest Orton in 1946. We are a growing business operating two retail locations, a successful e-commerce business, manufacturing and distribution centers, and a home office. The Vermont Country Store was founded to provide practical and hard to find products that make life more enjoyable.

Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic entry-level Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team where you’ll work with business users, technology professionals and vendors to investigate, design, implement, test and upgrade business systems throughout the company. This role is full-time and reports to the Information Technology (IT) Manager and can be assigned to a wide range of information technology projects including the company’s enterprise system, website, and various specialized business applications such as warehouse, inventory planning, and retail.
Key Responsibilities:

Analysis: Support existing business systems through technical and business process problem solving

Documentation: Identify and document business requirements and work with vendors to evaluate how their systems match our requirements

Design: Assist in designing, developing and enhancing data interfaces between business and applications.

Implementation: Assist with implementing and testing new and upgraded systems ensuring all requirements of the business users are met.

Collaboration: Work as part of a team to keep business systems current and functional.
