Overview:
Our private practice is seeking a motivated, quality-oriented General Dentist to join our team! We believe in full clinical autonomy, putting the patients first, full-service dentistry and taking care of the community we serve! Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and dental X-rays
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
- Perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and best practices
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients
- Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient assessment techniques
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols
