Overview:
Karen Pearse & Co., LLC is seeking a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, driven individual to assist in organizing multiple, high profile, concurrent projects. This position must take ownership of and successfully deliver on all assigned projects, accurately and on-time.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Sourcing and Project Managers to prepare for on-site and outside client meetings. Organize the samples with the library, ensuring all samples are in the showroom prior to the client meeting and/or packed and ready for when Sourcing and PM's are leaving for the meeting.
-Participate when required during meetings, help pulling and finding samples - keep current and familiar where samples are located.
-Maintain Showroom and extended Showroom inventory.
-Work with Project Managers, Sourcing and the Executive Team to schedule showroom visits. Manage the Showroom calendar.
-Responsible for reordering samples for the Showroom.
-Order any food, drinks, flowers and other items for client meetings.
-Responsible for the Showroom clean up after every meeting. Ensure all samples are returned and logged back into the library.
-Responsible for managing the main door buzzer and assisting all walk-ins.
-Responsible for labeling all items in the Showroom.
-Responsible for putting together one pagers/product data sheets for each product.
-Responsible for working with the library to update samples in the Showroom - swap out samples.
-Keep track of incoming samples and coordinate with the library once they arrive to get them into the showroom.
-Staying on top of items that are in the Showroom to ensure they are not discontinued.
-Manage Showroom slab photo library, generate slab photos for all stone on an as needed basis; all natural stones in the Showroom must have slab photos.
-Work with the website team to ensure all items in the showroom are up to date on the website, including all data, photos and information.
-Prepare pricing and technical sheets.
-Participate in vendor meetings as required and coordinate with Sourcing to request/order new samples for the Showroom.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
- Architectural Surface material knowledge is a plus.
- Photoshop interior renderings and Photoshop is a must.
- Working knowledge of Rhino, Planswift and/or AutoCad.
- Powerpoint experience and Presentation skills a must.
- Proficiency in budgeting and project management.
- Excellent sales skills to effectively communicate design ideas and close deals.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Exceptional phone etiquette for client interactions.
- Strong sales management capabilities to drive revenue growth.
- Previous experience as an assistant manager would be advantageous.
