Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Musical Instrument Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing various musical instruments for school contracts as well as personal rental instruments.
Duties:
- Diagnose, estimate, adjust, repair a variety of instruments: Orchestral Strings and/or Woodwinds & Brass
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure reliability
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments
Skills:
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment specific to instrument repair
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose instrument malfunctions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex instrument issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
