We make all of our gelato and sorbets on site in small batches in our imported machines from Italy. We are looking for a reliable person to join our team 20 to 30 hours per week.
With summer on the way, our demand for gelato and sorbet is increasing. The ideal candidate would be someone with attention to detail, who can learn and follow our custom recipes with little assistance, can lift 30 pounds and who can stand on their feet.
Responsibilities
- Make gelato and sorbets
- Follow all sanitation requirements such a labeling, dating, handling of milk products etc.
- Properly dismantle and clean gelato machine
- Clean station
- Assist bakers with packaging and other similar tasks as needed
General Information
- No gelato making experience required. We will train the right candidate
- Kitchen, culinary or baking experience a plus
- 2 to 4 days per week.
