Job Description
- 24 hour 365 Towing and Transportation company hiring for all shifts. For dispatcher/office manager positions.
- 5 days of 8 hour shifts. Must be willing to work a weekend day.
- Dispatchers duty is to take calls from customers and dispatch them to drivers in an appropriate and efficient manner.
- Dispatchers also assist with vehicle and impound releases at the release window.
- Duties of dispatchers are to be the first contact of information from the customers, to appropriately handle each situation that arises and put their best effort forward to satisfy customer needs and expectations.
- Duties of office and accounting assistant are numerous, but will be trained at appropriate speeds.
- Assist in the collection of bills, balancing of accounts, and matching of statements.
- Requirements for Job
- Communication Skills: You will be listening and speaking to people by radio and phone, often in some state of distress. Your ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary.
- Ability to Multitask: Dispatchers often are moving a lot of people around at the same time, tracking their movements and keeping tabs on what they need. There are multiple duties of the job as far as towing scheduling, vehicle releases, as well as other duties as assigned.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to be able to prioritize the most important situations, and think quickly on your feet.
