Job Summary:
The HR Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient processes, compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The role involves managing HR staff, handling employee relations, overseeing recruitment and training, and implementing HR policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise HR Staff: Manage and provide leadership to the HR team, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Provides any changes to job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring process to recruiting team. Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee grievances, conduct investigations, and mediate conflicts. Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed. Assist in the development of performance improvement plans.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Organize and conduct training sessions.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics and prepare reports on HR activities and performance. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- HR Projects: Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the HR function and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
