Job description
- Patient Intake
- Collect urine samples, complete lab forms, and ensure pick-up is scheduled.
- Prepare/restock procedure room and forms in exam rooms.
- Prepare procedure consent forms.
- Prepare prescriptions during clinic: MRI, referrals, PT, etc.
- Assist with setting up electronic prescriptions and ensuring they are correctly sent.
- Communicate with the Authorizations Department regarding add-on procedures.
- Scan and upload patient documentation: prescriptions, medical records, DME forms, etc.
- Review messages/tasks daily and resolve or delegate as necessary.
- Weekly prep for the upcoming clinics.

Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in medical administrative support, basic life support, patient service, patient care, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with X-ray procedures

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
