Title: SAP Data Entry / Maintenance Planner

Compensation: $45 - $48/hr
Job Summary:
PIC Group has an excellent opportunity for a SAP Data Entry / Maintenance Planner supporting a 560-megawatt Rapid Response Combined-Cycle, dry-cooled facility in El Segundo, CA. The
SAP Data Entry / Maintenance Planner will perform SAP data entry and must have SAP maintenance planning software experience. This role requires proficient skills in data entry, reading, communication, and organization. Must be adept at working with spreadsheets, bill of materials and working in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Plant Engineer to update SAP tracking systems, including equipment /parts identification in bill of materials.
- Analyze maintenance requests and develop meaningful schedules.
- Maintain files of manufacturer equipment manuals, drawings, recommended spares, and maintenance procedures.
- Review equipment and OEM manuals with specifications for equipment.
- Search Bill of Materials and add assets/parts to SAP.
- Search OEM manuals for recommended preventive maintenance schedules and add PMs to SAP.
- Create and close work orders as directed by the maintenance team.
- Research parts and equipment independently.
- Learn and adhere to the safety aspects of the plant and walk the plant safely to identify equipment and parts.
Job Requirements:
- Coordinate multiple activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and ability to analyze independently or collaboratively.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Show commitment to company success and share technical expertise.
- Proficiency in SAP software data entry, and MS Office.
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with lists and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setup with planner, supervisor, engineer, and report to the maintenance manager.
- Must be able to work 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Contract length will be 2-5 months with the potential for it to extend beyond 5 months.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to repetitively lift, bend, kneel, and walk, daily, depending on plant operation issues and work to be done.
Education / Experience:
- Associate degree in a mechanical field or vocational technical diploma preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in a power or process manufacturing facility preferred
- 4+ years’ experience as maintenance planner or in a maintenance planning support role preferred
- 3+ years’ experience with SAP Maintenance Planner software preferred
