Meyer Laboratory is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated individual to join our Meyer family as Procurement Analyst. Meyer Laboratory is an exciting and rewarding place to work. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for partnering with the Director of Operations and Procurement Specialist to ensure the company has adequate inventory levels, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery of third-party goods and services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting as needed with key aspects of the third-party procurement process to include the following:
- Processing purchase orders
- Filling backorders
- Communicating information pertinent to purchase orders and sales orders
- Third-party purchase cycle counting
- Prepared to assist with all other procurement duties as a backup
- Obtain authorizations for purchases
- Verify billing is accurate
- Review reorder reports
- Process and record pricing changes
- Process parts purchases
- Process all returns
- Monitor and manage stocking plans and reorder points
- Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
- Develop partnerships and maintain positive relationships with sales team and operations team.
Education / Work Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clerical experience.
- 1-3 years of procurement experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High performance leader that is a self-starter with personal accountability and follow-through.
