Position Summary
This program is a regional camping-based adventure at Merck Forest and Farmland in Rupert, Vermont. The program will be focused on sustainable trail management and maintenance, agriculture, and farming. Crew members and leaders will work with farm animals and support the working farm. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity and the chance to experience camping, hiking, and working within Merck Forest and Farmland.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting Crew Members in stewardship projects; Supporting Crew Members overnight in a camp-based setting; Transporting Crew Members from NYC to Merck Forest and Farmland in Rupert, Vermont; Co Leading farm maintenance projects with Merck Staff;
Marginal Duties
Planning and shopping for group meals; Assist Crew Members with the preparation of group meals; Responsible for maintaining a clean campsite and camp kitchen;
Required Qualifications
Wilderness First Aid; Valid Driver's License;
Preferred Qualifications
Camping Experience; Trail Stewardship Experience;
Hours
40 per week
Living Accommodations
Crew Leaders will camp in SCA-proved tents and sleeping bags or if available Cabins.
Compensation
$900.00 Per Week
All allowances are subject to applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
