We are searching for a Universal Banker to join our team at our location coming soon to 6503 North Point Parkway, Alpharetta, GA. This position will be responsible for opening new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and promoting and informing customers of the Bank's products and services. Employee is also responsible for providing efficient and high quality customer service that furthers customer relationships.
Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships, serving as their trusted banker by having knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
Quotes products and rates in effort to promote and inform customers of the Bank’s products and services.
Represents the Bank in business development efforts in the community and at community events.
Helps customers by opening new accounts including DDA, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, and other bank products.
Enhances customer relationships by meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, handling customer complaints and special circumstances.
Educates customers about common scams, identity theft risks, and fraud prevention measures in order to protects the Bank’s customers and assets.
Follows established dual control procedures, including but not limited to, opening/closing the Branch.
Ensures that night drop bags are properly collected, logged, and processed according to Bank procedures.
Answers phone and assists callers and/or transfers callers to appropriate personnel.
Maintains a work area which ensures the safety and confidentiality of all customer records and transactions.
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules governing the Bank’s products and services.
Understands and complies with Bank Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Works as Teller or Vault Teller when needed.
Fast-paced banking/business office environment with standard office temperature, moderate noise from computer(s), printer(s), telephone, fax, copier, scanner and other office equipment, and median traffic.
Ability to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, reach, lift (up to 25 pounds), and stand for various lengths of time and meet other physical demands required to perform the job.
