The Maintenance Buyer will be accountable to provide customer service, data entry, interaction with vendors/contractors, and provide support to the Maintenance Coordinator.
What You'll Do:
- Daily preparation for war room numbers: (MRO & Outside Contractors, and PMs completed).
- Create and Maintain BOMs (Bill of Material) and BOM library.
- Daily communication with Stockroom associates on critical spare parts inventory.
- Review jobs with Maintenance Coordinator to ensure accuracy of job scope and parts needed.
- Research, select, and purchase quality parts and tools.
- Process requisitions and update management on status of orders timely.
- Maintain Open Req and Purchase Order spreadsheet.
- Timely notification to management when parts or tools are delivered.
- Build job kits as needed.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

What We Need from You:
- 2-year degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years buying experience in maintenance or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Data Entry.
- Customer Service.
- Microsoft Office/Excel/BLISS.
