Vice President Finance – Commercial & Brand Finance Fanatics Brand
Directs the financial performance and delivery of analytics for Commercial & Brand Finance to drive business strategies and operations across the organization. Ensures integrity and continuous improvement of the end-to-end management of revenue, margin, order book, supply chain costs and inventory through cross functional alignment on targeting, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysis. Owns and directs the budgeting process as well as drives the strategic business planning process including marketing investments and initiatives within the Fanatics Brand business segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs the management of financial plans, targets, strategies, and controls that focus on achieving desired financial and business objectives of Fanatics Brand
- Sparring partner to head of business on strategic, operative and organizational matters
- Provides accurate and timely reporting of all key financials
- Directs Commercial & Brand Finance activities across Fanatics Brand
- Analyze operational issues impacting the business, measure the business performance and determine their financial impact and proactively identify areas of opportunity
- Provide financial and commercial insights and drive its future performance including recommendations regarding cost savings and profitability risks and improvement opportunities
- Instrumental in developing the business together with the leadership team, organically as well as through M&A
- Manages the relationship and service levels between support functions, including Corporate Finance, Operations, Financial Shared Services, Credit and Marketing Operations
- Strategizes cross functionally with the Finance team to optimize profitability, growth prospects, operational execution, budget management and strategy decisions for Fanatics Brand
- Drives value creation through helping the business and functions make better operational and strategic decisions
- Maximize efficiency and effectiveness by defining, designing and managing the development of value added reporting and analytical tools necessary to drive the strategy
- Ensure correct financial reporting and prepare frequent forecasts and tracking thereof – monthly, quarterly, yearly, ad hoc
- Ensures highly accurate financial and non-financial information and analysis for business decisions
- Key lead in the pricing process (together with business responsible) and ensures adherence to the Pricing Policy
- Defines organizational structure, sets objectives, and manages workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices and achieving continuous process improvement
- Ensures high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business management
- 10+ years in finance department in controlling and/or accounting functions
- 8+ years of leadership experience, as Head of Department in an international environment
- Industry specific experience preferred
- Experience in working with the Board or senior level management teams
- International working experience and experience in working across borders preferred
