CONTROLLER

The Controller will work closely with management and is responsible for overseeing financial statements, budgeting, invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Duties will include directing Accounting Managers and department operations, compiling financial reports based on financial statements and implementing policies and procedures for financial reporting.

Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities
- Prepare financial documents such as financial statements, business reports, financial forecasts and budgeting process to understand the financial state of business and direct all accounting operations.
- Lead and supervise accounting team
- Monitor a company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs
- Understand the financials of a company in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing
- Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Coordinating activities of external audits.
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.
- Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance.
- Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting with at least 5 years’ Controller experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel and with Accounting Software experience.
- Must have attention to detail and experience multitasking.
- Good understanding of international finance.
- Organization and project management experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
