Role and Responsibilities:
Network engineer responsible for providing high level architecture and detailed design, technical specifications, and subject matter expertise on network infrastructure. This Engineering role will require candidate to develop schematic and detailed network designs aligned with Architectural guidelines. Develop implementation plans and oversee the implementation. The role requires collaboration on both goal and task related activities as well as the requirement to complete complex delivery tasks when required.
Certifications -CCIE Required
Technical Requirements:
- 10+ years network switching and routing protocols, (BGP, EIRGP, OSPF)
- firewalls, proxy servers and load balancers (F5 BIG-IP, Cisco)
- Network services, DNS domain management and monitoring (IP, SOA, MX, SolarWinds, etc.)
- Compute, storage and security for traditional data center hosted applications and cloud solutions. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the following technologies:
- Network (Cisco Nexus 9k/7k, 6880, ACI, Network Automation/Orchestration Ansible, UCS Director, Load Balancers (F5), support)
- Security (Cisco ASA firewalls, Juniper, ACL's, Gigamon, Riverbed, Blue Coat Proxy, Webpulse)
- VMware, UCS Director, HP Blade Chassis, x86, Microsoft Server 2008/2012
- Working knowledge and experience with application design
- Strong presentation, written and written communications skills
- Experience creating professional level technical documentation using MS Suite
