We are currently looking for Mechanical Assemblers who, under the guidance of the Assembly Supervisor, are responsible for bench assembly operations. This role involves assembling parts, pieces, and/or products using various tools and equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in a manufacturing environment. It is a full-time position.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately assemble products.
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply gluing and sealing techniques using compounds like Loctite, epoxy, and RTV.
- Handle various sizes of materials, from heavy parts to small intricate ones.
- Perform soldering and assembly of various parts to VW transducers.
- Conduct quality testing and inspection to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and report product defects to appropriate personnel.
- Rework and repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes.
- Maintain accurate records/logs.
- Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of assembly experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and blueprints for complex and standard product assembly.
- Ability to maintain equipment and a clean work environment.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
