JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
The senior digital client manager’s primary responsibilities are the execution and success of our clients’ marketing programs on behalf of the agency. This individual is a high-performing self-starter with superior skills in digital marketing, project oversight and client interaction. Keys: digital marketing saavy, exceptional interpersonal skills, multitasking, collaboration, evaluation of creative (deliverables) and attention to detail.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management and oversight of our clients’ marketing programs
- Typically, the senior client manager will handle up to 5-7 clients with a 70% billable rate
- Ensuring that managed projects/campaigns meet client expectations and our timeline and budget. In other words, get projects done with awesome results (1), on time (2) and within budget (3)
- Interpreting client requests for the m3 team so that they can develop creative; evaluating creative to ensure that it meets client needs
- Primary day-to-day interaction with clients (email, phone and in-person meetings)
- Analyzing marketing data and making strategic recommendations accordingly
- Thorough understanding of the Statement of Work (SOW) and materials gathered for each client
- Evaluating blog posts, lead-generation offers (eBooks, white papers, etc.), social media content and other marketing materials as needed
- Using HubSpot, WordPress and other tools to execute marketing programs
Additional responsibilities include:
- Staying current with content marketing and inbound marketing strategies, tactics and trends
- Working with developers and designers to create timelines, sitemaps and wireframes for website redesigns
- Overseeing (non-HR related) the marketing specialists' work with social media, content promotion, lead nurturing and backlink development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
- Ability to lead projects and instruct team members
- Reviewing analytics and presenting marketing recommendations to clients
Requirements
- Excellent organizational, project management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable interpersonal/communication skills (writing, verbal and presentation).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in creating and managing digital marketing programs, and in generating leads for clients using digital platforms
- Strong working knowledge of content marketing, inbound marketing, account-based marketing, SEO best practices, and digital marketing in general
- HubSpot certification
- Working knowledge of WordPress and HTML
- AP Style familiarity
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords, Search Console and SEO tools
