The Project Engineer will be responsible for handling full life cycle capital projects helping the plant operate as efficiently as possible.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of science in relatable engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years of project engineering experience supporting a manufacturing plant operation.
- Proficient with AutoCAD or comparable modeling software.
- Experience working in MS Project or similar project-based applications software used for project and financial tracking.
- Independently manage, with minimal supervision or technical support, the full lifecycle of a capital project.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience managing capital projects in a heavy industrial continuous manufacturing operation.
- Proficiency with MS Project.
- Knowledgeable in Mechanical Integrity (MI) and/or Process Safety Management (PSM) ISO standards.
- PMP certification or project management training.
- Well versed with projects that include cross functional disciplines involving, electrical, mechanical, controls, and structural aspects to them.
