Hi! We’re Simple Truth, a Chicago-based, women-owned branding, marketing and communications design agency. We’re expanding our team and looking for a part-time office manager to help keep our team on track and office operating smoothly.

Intrigued? Here’s what you’d be doing each week:
Responsibilities:
- General office support including ordering supplies, maintaining the office calendar, physical space and storage areas, distributing deliveries and mail, and coordinating with vendors who need to perform office or equipment maintenance (i.e., Canon, Coffee Unlimited, ADT, cleaning service, etc.).
- Serve as building liaison with our landlord and subtenants, including submitting maintenance requests, ordering keys/fobs for new hires, sending subtenant invoices and communicating building announcements to the Simple Truth team.
- Hospitality and event support including ordering food for client and team meetings, setting up meeting rooms, planning Simple Truth events such as our summer outing and holiday party, and working with the team to create engaging monthly all-team office days (called Anchor Days).
- Operations and administrative support for the partner team and general office operations, including supporting bill pay, arranging travel, ordering client gifts, depositing checks, general filing and recordkeeping.
- Ad hoc support of Simple Truth teams for client or special projects.
Hours and compensation
Due to the nature of the work, this is a fully in-person, in-office position. Ideal schedule is Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM – 3 PM (or 9 AM – 2 PM) with flexibility needed at times to meet vendors and support operations/meetings, etc. This is a non-exempt job that pays $20 per hour. You will also receive pay for company holidays and office closures on days when you would be scheduled to work, equal to your weekly hours (e.g., 15 hours per week), as well as paid sick time and paid time off.
