Position Overview: As an Esthetician at The Ballantyne, a Luxury Collection Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional spa experiences to our discerning guests. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of esthetic treatments, have a passion for skincare, and demonstrate a commitment to providing personalized and luxurious services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments, including facials, body treatments, and waxing services, using high-quality products.
- Conduct thorough skin analyses and consultations to customize treatments based on individual guest needs and preferences.
- Stay informed about the latest skincare trends, products, and techniques to offer cutting-edge services.
- Educate guests on skincare routines and recommend appropriate products for home care.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable environment for guests.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with spa protocols.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, addressing their concerns and ensuring a memorable spa experience.
Qualifications:
- Esthetician license in North Carolina.
- Proven experience as an Esthetician in a luxury spa or similar upscale environment.
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatments, and industry trends.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Applicants who are fortunate enough to be selected for hire are eligible for benefits as follows:
Full Time Hires (normally scheduled 40 hours per week): Eligible for medical/dental/life benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Other benefits include Paid Time Off, 401(k) plus Company match and Resort Stay Program (where our team members can stay at other Northwood Hospitality properties).
Part Time Hires (normally scheduled 16-29 hours per week): Eligible for Paid Time Off, 401(k) plus Company match and Resort Stay Program.
On Call / Seasonal / Interns (available on call/as needed for special events or during peak business/no guarantee of schedule): Eligible for 401(k) plus Company match and discounted Stays at other Northwood properties.
