Our customers have varying levels of technical comprehension, which require a talented and patient support specialist who is an effective communicator. This position is responsible for providing support to our clients and handles a unique mix of issues in the areas of telephony, computer networking, Internet, and IPTV video systems.
Preferred applicant will have:
- Minimum two year degree in computers, technology or related field or equivalent training and experience in electronics
- Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge and background
- Must be comfortable with and enjoy being on the phone
Primary responsibilities:
- Answer inbound technical support phone calls, chats and emails related to broadband services
- Consult with customers and provide additional solutions in the form of upselling Alpine's products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice, broadband, video and connection issues
- Answer customer service and related questions
- Track and record each interaction and provide detailed description of the interaction
- Provide assistance to other team members
- Perform other duties

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
