Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general warehouse duties such as receiving, sorting, and storing incoming materials
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and ensure accuracy
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain stock levels and identify discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Plumbing experience is a plus!
