About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Wholesale Fulfillment Operations to lead the strategic planning and execution of our wholesale fulfillment operations. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of products to our wholesale partners, managing orders for large and small retailers, and optimizing operational processes.
Please note: Only candidates with significant experience in wholesale fulfillment operations, ERP systems management, and EDI connections will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Systems and EDI Management: Oversee the implementation and use of ERP systems, manage EDI connections with wholesale partners, and ensure data accuracy and integrity across ERP, EDI, and WMS.
- Routing Guide Compliance: Adhere to and interpret routing guides from retailers, coordinate with internal teams to meet retailer-specific shipping and labeling requirements, and maintain strong relationships with retailer logistics teams to resolve compliance issues.
- Transportation Management: Coordinate logistics using FTL, LTL, and parcel carriers, and negotiate transportation contracts to optimize service levels and costs.
- Vendor Onboarding and Contract Negotiation: Lead the onboarding of new vendors, negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing, and monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreements.
- Wholesale Fulfillment Operations: Optimize order processing, inventory management, and shipping, collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Customer Experience, and Operations teams, ensure compliance with shipping windows and communication with warehouses and vendors, and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for wholesale fulfillment operations, monitor expenses, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet financial targets.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience leading direct teams.
- 7 years of proven experience managing relationships with 3PL and freight partners for B2B orders.
- Extensive background in wholesale fulfillment operations, including EDI integration, ERP and WMS management, and routing guide compliance, with built-out EDI integrations between wholesale vendors and ERP/WMS systems.
- Successful track record in vendor onboarding, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management, including managing compliance for vendor routing guides (e.g., Nordstrom, Best Buy, Target).
- Experience with e-commerce brands, preferably in a similar industry to Ridge.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, create reporting from scratch, and make informed decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
