PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a critical member of the finance team, and responsible for a variety of reporting and analysis, along with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with monthly financial close process
- Report and analyze monthly financial performance with focus on costing/inventory
- Analyze product line margins to determine optimum product mix
- Perform financial budgeting, forecasting, and operational metrics tracking
- Compare and analyze actual results with budget and forecasts
- Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Contribute with cross functional projects
- Support process changes/improvements in Corporate Performance Management software
- Initiate and analyze KPIs for the business
- Develop and enhance BI reporting
- Assist in preparing content for ongoing leadership reviews
- Support senior leadership and complete special projects as needed
EDUCATION:
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or other related field
- MBA or CPA preferred
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing a similar role
- Results oriented, with strong initiative, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Excel, PivotTables, Data visualization, Power BI and other financial reporting tools
TRAVEL:
- Occasional travel for plant visits and meetings, as well as company events.
