Responsibilities:
We are a small (but growing!) office in need of a dental assistant! We put a strong emphasis on working together as a team, and try our best to support everyone in the office. We are striving for high quality and comfortable care for our patients, and we know we can't do this without awesome team members! Our goal is to work hard and have fun so we can enjoy helping patients that come to us for their care. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, depending on the day. As a general dental office with an emphasis on surgery, we do everything, so our days are dynamic and will keep you on your toes!
As a dental assistant, you will assist our dentist, ensuring their work is carried out smoothly and efficiently. This includes chairside assisting, taking impressions, radiographs, 3-D scans, and photos as needed. This also includes maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring that all information is up to date and easily accessible.
In addition, you will be expected to follow strict infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and sterile work environment. This is crucial to ensure the safety and well-being of both our patients and dental team members.
Skills:
To excel in this role, excellent communication skills are essential. You must be able to effectively interact with patients and dental team members, ensuring clear and concise communication at all times.
Attention to detail is another crucial skill, as it is vital to ensure accurate documentation and provide the highest level of patient care. Working in a fast-paced dental office requires the ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with dental instruments and equipment is expected, as you will be required to handle and operate them confidently. Knowledge of Oral Surgery assisting is preferred, as it will further enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
We are proud to offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Dental Assistants. By joining our team of dedicated professionals, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional dental care to our patients, making a positive impact on their oral health and overall well-being.
