Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Call Center Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent phone etiquette and be able to communicate effectively in English. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Duties:
- Call Center coverage hours include 8 AM EST – 6 PM EST, Monday through Friday
- This position is located in the corporate office. Not a remote opportunity.
- Take calls from customers and answer questions or address any concerns they may have.
- Handle many inbound and outbound calls to and from customers, listen to customer needs or issues and provide helpful solutions to their problems.
- De-escalate situation involving dissatisfied customers, offering assistance or support
- Guide callers through troubleshooting and navigating the company product or services
- Maintain a regular work schedule
- Maintains the confidentiality and standards set forth in client contracts
- Create and maintain a record of daily problems and remedial actions taken, using call center database
- Address calls in an effective and timely manner
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Mortgage brokerage, origination and/or processing experience
- Experience working in a call center or customer-support role
- Experience working with internet phone systems a plus
- Experience working in a software/IT environment a plus
- Strong documentation skills
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations, especially during peak hours
- Ability to proactively communicate at multiple levels: executive to individual contributor
