We're seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will: manage all aspects of assigned accounts, identify opportunities and new business opportunities. Provide superior, value-added customer service which results in consistent and ongoing account satisfaction and goodwill with Pexco’s customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level and professional customer service both internal and external, in a dynamic, fast paced world-class manufacturing facility
- Effectively balance a range of core customer service functions, striving to help increase the output and efficiency of the sales team and the overall success of the company
- Engage with customers on a regular basis to understand their needs and identify business opportunities
- Provide value added solutions and support while looking for ways to expand our existing business
- Collaborate with other team members to connect appropriate resources with opportunities and customer concerns
- Coordinate and convey all data and customer requirements needed to process customer orders and quotes
- Collect and analyze customer data to understand trends and opportunities
- Inform Customer Service Manager and other management as needed of critical deadlines, customer requests, quality issues and all other significant information through written and/or verbal communication in a competent and reliable manner
- Initiate and track quotes and new part orders
- Monitor current payment trends, make recommendations to the credit manager on specific accounts, and provide assistance in collecting delinquent invoices through purchasing contacts in coordination with Accounting
- Actively strive for customer satisfaction and on time in full ratings of 100%
- Cross train for proficiency on all accounts
- Develop and maintain respectful internal working relationships and contribute to a productive results-oriented climate
- Performs other duties as apparent or assigned
Performance Indicators:
- Demonstrated high level of internal and external Customer Service and customer satisfaction
- Work with internal team to maintain exceptional supplier rating with assigned accounts
- Work with finance to ensure assigned account’s receivables are current
- Demonstrated compliance with company values and code of conduct as a team-player
Qualifications
- Education: bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to quickly grasp and execute duties with minimal verbal instruction
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor, positive attitude and high level of service during stressful situations
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis in Excel and data analysis
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrates compliance with all Safety Protocols and Practices
