Job Overview:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for analyzing and compiling financial information and preparing financial reports. All tasks are carried out in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Process biweekly payroll.
· Review timesheets and resolve any issues with employees or Managers.
· Make payroll adjustments if necessary.
· Generate payroll reports.
· Respond to payroll inquiries from employees.
· Preparation of Medicaid Billing.
· Billing data sheets filing.
· Preparation of Program Billing Units Report.
· Generate billing reports.
· Prepare and submit billing to Medicaid.
· Resolve billing issues.
· Maintain Journals and Subsidiary Ledgers.
· Preparation of Aging Reports.
· Issue and process checks to employees and outside vendors.
· Review invoices.
· Work with outside vendors to resolve payment issues.
· Follow Fiscal Policies and Procedures.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting.
· 2-5 years working experience in the accounting field.
· Must have working knowledge of Fund EZ.
· Knowledge of Paycom software system.

- Ability to perform very basic math skills including, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing at an eighth-grade level.
Required Trainings: New Employee Orientation, Intro to Developmental Disabilities, HIPAA/Privacy & Confidentiality, and any other assigned training.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
