Multi-unit Owners Seeking Full-Time, Certified Pilates Instructors for 4 locations in NYC on the West Side: Club Pilates Upper West Side, West 57th, West Chelsea, and Penn Station.
Pilates Instructor (Full-Time Positions Only)

POSITION:
Full-Time, Certified Pilates Instructor, Club Pilates (Upper West Side, West 57th, West Chelsea, Penn Station).
We are seeking 1-2 highly motivated and dynamic Instructors to join each studio team full-time. This requires committing to a minimum of 20 hours per week (teaching and private training). In exchange for this full-time commitment, there is additional compensation and incentives.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pilates and helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. Pilates is your career, not hobby. If you are a professional Pilates instructor who is super energetic, overly friendly, willing to learn, build long-lasting relationships with potential and existing clients, sell classes and lead dynamic apparatus -focused workout routines (we use Balanced Body reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, spring boards, ballet barre and more), you’ll be a great addition to our team. We are looking for instructors with confidence in working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner.
Our studio offers blocked scheduling and shifts, the ability to teach multiple level classes and seven different formats, club membership, continuing education reimbursement, employee status (not independent contractor), room for growth, and a supportive & fun environment!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current full apparatus Pilates Certification with 450 hours of experience or equivalent (if you have not yet met this, we can help)
- Ability to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours per week teaching
- Experience teaching group classes of up to 12
- Ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction
- Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Punctual, reliable and dedicated
- Desire to build a successful business in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards and making yourself available for private clients weekly
- Instructing clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience
- Conducting private, semi-private, demo or other additional sessions as needed
- Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment
- Assisting with membership sales during intro classes and checking clients in as needed
- Building studio revenue by promoting retail and membership sales & services

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- This position offers a very competitive base; based on experience & performance
- Additional compensation and incentives are being offered for a commitment of more than 20 hours per week

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
